Here at Equilibrium Dance Academy, a dress code is required for all classes. Your dancer’s hair should always be pulled back and off of their face. Jewelry is not permitted in any class except for stud earrings. This is for your dancer’s safety.
Ballet: Any colored leotard, pink, tan or skin tone ballet shoes and pink, tan or skin tone tights with the option of a ballet skirt. Hair must be pulled back into a bun for levels 1, 2 & 3 and a bun or in a ponytail for pre-ballet.
Pointe: Pointe shoes are required for this class. Please visit a dance store to get fitted properly for these shoes.
Acro: Any colored leotard with leggings, shorts or footless tights. Hair must be pulled back in a bun or ponytail. No shoes are required.
Hip Hop: Loose fitted clothing like a T-shirt and sweatpants with sneakers.
Tap: Any colored leotard and tights or leggings. Black tap shoes are required.
Creative Dance/Tap: Any colored leotard and tights with appropriate dance shoes required for the class. Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
Creative Dance/Acrobatics: Any colored leotard and tights with pink, tan or skin tone ballet shoes.
Creative Dance/Ballet: Any colored leotard, pink, tan or skin tone ballet shoes and pink, tan or skin tone tights with the option of a ballet skirt.
Jazz/Tap: Any colored leotard and tights with an option of dance shorts or skirt. Black jazz shoes and black tap shoes are required.
Lyrical: Any colored leotard and footless/convertible tights with an option of dance shorts or skirt. No shoes are required.
Boys: Hip Hop requires any type of loose fitted clothing and sneakers. Ballet requires a plain white or black T-Shirt and black pants with black ballet shoes. For all other dance styles student can wear any colored T-Shirt and pants with appropriate dance shoes.
